Well, got a comment today that I update my statuses a lot, so I should start blogging. I do blog, occasionally. 🙂 I just like to post a lot because my family is so far away and life is so crazy that when stuck at home with a little boy and you just need to get something out, it’s easier to put it on Facebook, especially when you don’t really see people at all. And your hubby works most of the time. 🙂 I get bored.
But, I decided to take the advice, and I will try to get everything out in a blog versus all over Facebook. Which might mean, that I have a million posts a day, but only about 2-3 sentences long. 😀
Well, as of reading through all my posts yesterday, I could pretty much tell you what each one is about. So, here is my yesterday…
Hubby and I were stressed out because of bills. 😦 Once again. I started looking into watching some kids. Had 4 potential kids lined up, but still I have heard nothing. So, I feel like a door was opened, only to be slammed in my face. As a result, hubby went to work stressed. And I began the morning by doing pretty much nothing, but Facebooking, calling insurance companies, returning voicemails, and a handful of everything else.
Tried to take a nap, but couldn’t. As, I haven’t been sleeping well, at all. Weird dreams, awake for a while, then finally pass out. I mean really, we have all tried to sleep when stressed out, would have thought I was smarter than that… 😦
Called Progressive, found out that they won’t give me any educational discounts on insurance as Ryan and I don’t live 100 miles from home and although I am younger than 23 and get a GPA of over 3.0, I can’t have it because I am the spouse of the insured… Whatever!! 😛
Hubby talked to me on his break and told me he had flexed part of the day, so he came home. 🙂 Too bad I was crying when he got home. because I had talked to 3 people from Wells Fargo about a late fee I got on my credit card, that no one could explain to me. So, I was frustrated. I blame hormones! Second day of tears. (Pray for none today.) When he got home though, we didn’t go on a picnic, but pawned some stuff, so we could get diapers for a little man. Not gonna lie, we also went and got Chinatown and had KFC for dinner, to lift our spirits.
Have to deposit some of the money soon. And pay a couple bills.
Of course, also before Ryan got home, Landon put milk all over my floor. Which also made me stress out.
Got home from lunch and got the mail. Got a second notice saying I owe money. (Which I found out today, as because some lady gave me $46 in FEBRUARY on my food stamp car…) GR!!! Luckily, also found out, I don’t have to pay it until I talk to my caseworker (who I am not a huge fan of…) and after we find out if we qualify for foodstamps again or not.
Then, was praying that I was going to hear something all day long about babysitting some people’s kids. But, no luck so far. Thought about sleep, which didn’t happen til way later…
“7 PM and Landon had to go to bed. He was curled up over the pillow with his eyes closed, face halfway in the pillow, sucking on his finger almost asleep. Poor guy!! Mommy got him up early, but he was awake. And I am not sure how much he actually napped tonight. But, he’s in bed now. :D”
It was cute. ^^^
Talked to my sister about her purple hair and how my crazy ideas worked to keep her bleach heated while she used it on her hair.
My curfew was the street lights. My mom didn’t call my cell, she yelled my name. I played outside with friends, not online. If I didn’t eat what my mom cooked, then I didn’t eat. Sanitizer didn’t exist, but you COULD get your mouth washed out with soap. I rode a bike without a helmet, getting dirty was OK, and neighbors gave a damn as much as your parents did. Repost if you drank water from a garden hose & survived.
Don’t think that the Harper girls can’t do anything!! Some of were single moms. Other’s built a 6 foot fence around the garden. Others can gut deer. Don’t ever underestimate girls! 🙂 We ROCK!!
Looked into some massage therapy classes, but can’t start them til next year. Ha! I love how I was looking at classes getting excited, until I realized it would be over in December, but what I didn’t realize, was that it ALREADY STARTED!! DUH!
My nephew’s status reminded me of the cop I saw j-walking the other day. I was waiting for him to get a ticket, especially because it was right outside the police station. And I really wanted to yell, “J-walking is illegal!!”
Really anxious to start school soon. So, I looked a little bit for stamps. Hubby looked in the car this morning before he left for work.
Then, Landon was actually building with his lego blocks! And talking. Before he would bring them to me and make me do it. Plus, a little drinking in between. lol
Had a bowl of cereal between me and Landon. Made hubby lunch. Put away the basket of laundry. Went to start more, but hubby was running his (I thought dry) clothes in the dryer. (I think he wanted them warm)
Well, I think that’s about it for now. 😀
Had a bit of back plan lately. But, it’s not time to be in labor. lol. 😉
Oh yeah, EIGHT FREAKING WEEKS!!!!! 😀
Any way, lots to do.
