So this last Sunday, in the way to church, the car was very quiet and my mind began wandering. And I have come to the realization– don’t belittle what you have gone through, you may think that it’s nothing compare to what so-and-so went through but, you don’t know how they would respond to what you have been through, you don’t know how they would have reacted to it. Don’t belittle what someone else is going through either because the same concept applies, you don’t know what they are going through or how hard it really is for them. You don’t know how you would respond to what they have going on in their lives. So, don’t judge–instead pray. Pray for the people you know who are struggling. Pray especially for the ones who suffer silently. Pray and thank God that he brought you through all he has because if he hadn’t– never know where you would be right now.
Just a random thought as I was going to church feeling sorry for a friend and looking at my problems knowing they didn’t even compare– yet, my problems are mine– they weigh differently on me than they would you. So, just look at what he has brought you through and try to keep your chin up.
Thought of a few things to help– only rainbows after rain, the sun will always shine again; the grass is greener on the other side; (and for those who don’t like Miley Cyrus, I am sorry but…) listen to this song– Climb. It sums it up very well!!
Such deep thoughts you are thinking, and so important to keep that perspective.
I love you, babe. You amaze me! 😉
