Summer is Here

… & So Is Another Review–EZ Grip Bike Light Review.

This summer we have been blessed with spending a lot of time outside. However, with these ridiculous temperatures, we have been going out later in the evening or earlier in the morning, in order to find some bearable temperatures.

We got the EZ Grip Bike Lights. When we first got them in the mail, Z was super grumpy so I pulled them out and expected to have to put in some sort of batteries or something, but I was able to simply pop them out of the packaging and click it.

The on switch as super easy! No weird knob that you have to rotate or anything, just a simple push of the finger and you can turn them on. Not only that, but they have THREE–that’s right THREE different speeds–that I found out completely on accident.51i6LZPRa9L

You can have a solid light, a quick strobe or a slower strobe–all with the push of the button. One more push and it’s off.

You get a white light for the front, to see where you are going too—and a red light for the back. They are amazing!

They would work on any type of stroller, tricycle or bike you need. The easy to attach lights are amazing! Simple remove the loop from the hook, wrap it around the bar and fasten. It’s like using a rubberband and hook.

Looking forward to spending more time outdoors and feeling safer.

Who’s up for some outdoor time with us?!

Netfold Book while our “Net folds”

These last few months have been a pain–cyber-wise! We have internet through Infinity/Comcast and it has been s***ty since we ordered it. It took them 2 months to set it up, wiring and all. Now, we deal with the weekly, if not daily dropping of the internet. It’s annoying and a huge inconvenience when I am trying to do anything online.

A couple months back, I started reading a couple different books. One of the first ones was Netfold. Now, I am a slow reader–always have been. With children needing things done often, it delays the process even more. But, I finally found enough time to get through it–and it was actually pretty well worth it.

I am a very visual person. I usually enjoy TV more than anything, so if a book doesn’t give me anything visually, it’s a struggle to enjoy or get through it. However, I was a entertained with the concept of the book.

The idea is based on “Earth hours” and “Net time”–and how people can alter each other’s “destinies” by researching different things. To me, it sounds a bit like some other things I have watched, but they don’t deal with Net vs. Earth. It’s usually do different topics–though one is usually Earth.

The overall plot and characters created a unique world in which I could loss myself for a few hours here or there. I did have to remind myself that sleep was my most important task, a few dozen times.

If you have a moment, pick up Netfold for the Kindle–it provides a nice pastime when the internet is down and stolen your Netflix. It is also, overall, not a bad read. I was a little worried that it would be more geared for people who enjoy the gaming world and being “nerds”. But, I quickly found that even me, one of the “anti-gamers” could enjoy a nice read.
